My passion for luthery started at the age of 18, first restoring pianos in combination with my studies of luthery. Later on, I was trained in string quartet, constructing and restoring: violins, violas, violoncellos and similars, apart from Spanish chordophones: lutes, bandurrias, bass guitar, etc.

The process of constructing my handmade guitars starts by selecting woods from different parts of the world, among wich I highlight: Brasilian rosewood, Indian rosewood, Mediterranean cypress, German sprouce, Honduras cedar, Madagascar ebony…

In order to guarantee the highest harmonic level of the instruments, the drying process of the woods, depending on the type of guitar, takes from 10 up to 25 years.

During the construction process I use natural glue (hot glue), to give the instruments the required rigidity and tension. The varnish is hand made, using shellac.

My experience of more than 20 years as a guitar constructor and my cooperation inresearch works, working together with engineers and technicians, on vibration of harmonic tops and material for strings, allows me to offer my clients exclusive instruments, rooted in the incomparable school of Granada.
